Responsible Service of Gambling
The Northern Territory Government’s new Code of Practice for Responsible Gambling, was gazetted on 1 March 2016, and outlines the Government’s risk management strategy for managing responsible gambling includes a focus on regulatory compliance and responsible gambling delivery, including the roles of Community Liaison Officers.
Hospitality NT is looking to build confidence and competence amongst gambling venues and their staff, to ensure that responsible service of gambling can be effectively delivered. “Building Confidence and Competence” will use training to give staff knowledge and understanding of responsible service of gambling and also provide templates and resources.
Responsible Service of Gambling Training
will be providing a range of training and resources to support the responsible service of gambling and to meet the Code’s required practices. Hospitality NT
