Hospitality NT President’s Lunch
2024 Presidents Lunch
The Hospitality NT President's Lunch is an annual event for Hospitality NT members and industry stakeholders to network and celebrate the festive season and also serves as an opportunity to raise funds for worthwhile local charities.
The 2024 President's Lunch was held on Tuesday 19th November at the Beachside Pavilion at Mindil Beach Casino Resort.
This year over $60,000 was rasied for Foodbank NT. Foodbank NT works to alleviate hunger and food insecurity. They procure and collect surplus food from various sources, including retailers, manufacturers, and growers, and distribute it to people in need. Foodbank NT aims to provide essential food support to vulnerable individuals and families, helping to improve their well-being and quality of life. The establishment of the operations in Darwin and Alice Springs, is supporting their mission - to get the most good food to those in need in the most efficient way possible, helping to reduce hunger in the Territory. In 2025 they will look to open another store in Katherine.
In addition to raising much needed funds for NT Foodbank, the 2024 President's Lunch also acknowledged two industry legends 25 Year Service Awards to Lori Gardner and Leigh Jennings.
2023 Presidents Lunch
Thank you to everyone that attended our President's Lunch on Tuesday 21st November 2023. Through your generosity we raised $36,556 for the Australian Childhood Foundation's work in the NT - an incredible result!
Congratulations to this year's 25 Year Service recipients: Greg Crozier, Sean Mahoney and Paul & Sarah Palmer.
The day could not be possible without the continued support from our Event Partners, CUB & LION, our amazing beverage sponsors, the many businesses that donated to the Live and Silent auctions and Hospitality NT's sponsors and associates.
2022 Presidents Lunch
Thank you to everyone that attended the 2022 President's Lunch - it was a great day for the industry to come together after another challenging year and raise money for a worthy cause. Through the generosity on the day, we were proud to announce $38,341 will be donated to Cancer Council NT in memory of Dave Cannon, who most tragically passed away in August after a long and courageous battle with Melanoma.
Congratulations to our 25 Year Service Award recipients, Avril Baynes and Carol 'Gran' Walker-Moffatt for your wonderful contribution to our industry which continues on today!
